Compact Q Switched Nd:YAG Lasers Up To 213 nm

 

 

 

 

 

Compact flash lamp pumped q switched Nd:YAG lasers are ideal when high single pulse energy with short rep rates are needed.

Applications are: spectroscopy, LIF, LIBS, LIPS, and PIV, OPO and dye laser pumping, laser cleaning or carbon nano tube production.

 

Litron Lasers further optimized the fully developed technology of these lasers, noticeable by the amount of available options:

  • stable, gauss, telescopic resonator
  • wave length 1064, 532, 355, 266, 213 nm
  • repetition rates 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 Hz

 

 

 

Interchanging the long life flash lampes (50 Mil. flashes) is very easy.

Semi CW Laser Source At 355nm

 

 

 

The model XCYTE by JDSU is available as four versions:

20mW (flow cytometry)
60mW and 100mW (jet in air systems) and 150mW.

The 20mW version was specially developed for bio science applications and can be used for flow cytometry and con focal microscopy. The short 10ps pulses are also used for time resolved spectroscopy.

The brand new 100mW version, presented first at the Photonics West 2004 in California will focus on special applications of stereo lithography. The extremely small beam diameter and a very high beam stability allow very small borders. 100MHz repetition rate are like cw in epoxy resin.

Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser With Passive Q Switch

 

 

 

The Nd:YAG micro chip laser is pumped longitudinally by a laser diode. The passive q switch and a very short resonator provide pulse widths of up to 350 ps. The laser head is very compact. Cases dimensions start at 7 cm. It can be placed in every possible position to inegrate the laser into most setups.

Excellent beam quality TEM00 and simple operation are characteristics of this system. Only three longitudinal modes are excited.

Current applications for the microchip laser are: diamond labeling, DNA and tissue cutting, LIDAR, environment senoring, fluorescent excitation in UV, micro machining (hole drilling)...

Thales Laser now offers a compact and industrial femto second laser source with its model Bright. The system is seeded by a fiber laser (IMRA Femtolite) and is totally diode pumped.

The fiber seed laser guarantees high reliability and an excellent beam quality from the regenerative Ti:Sapphire amplifier. Important adjustable elements are motorized and can be controlled by the user via control panel or PC.

The Bright provides a high average output power of 1.5 W at 150 fs.

The new FEMTOCUBE femtosecond Ti:Sapphire amplifier by Thales Laser features a compact design and is controlled by a PC. Thanks to the user friendly Supervision software the user has perfect control of all laser parameters and settings at all times.

Various pulse durations up to 30 fs at the output with dazzler are available with different seed lasers.

At the moment Thales Laser offers the largest variety of Ti:Sapphire femtosecond amplifiers next to its compact diode pumped systems.

Apart from the seed oscillator -provided by Coherent, Femtolaser, Imra or Spectra Physics- all parts are own developments including the pump laser diodes.
The Alpha Series systems differ by pulse duration (oscillator), repetition rate ( 10, 100 , 5kHz pump laser) and output power (number of pump lasers and amplifiers).

 


 
The new stretcher/compressor design features a patented programmable AO phase filter and produces <30 fs pulses at the output of the amplifier. Peak power of > 20 TW are provided.

White light lasers : 380 - 200 nm

 

 

 

Broadband light sources are needed for measurement and analysis applications. If higher mean output values then standard broadband lamps can provide are needed, white light laser sources are used. This is often the case when measurement rates or the resolution of an existing measurement system needs to be increased.

A further advantage of this technology is the creation of the broad spectrum inside the fiber. A complicated fiber coupling is not required.

Leukos is known for its selection of high quality pump lasers for  the best pulse to pulse stability and life span on the market.

Compact CO2 Lasers

 

 

 

Line tunable CO2 lasers are used for spectroscopy, interferometry and far IR laser pumping. In order to provide discreet lines ACCES LASER COMPANY uses different laser models.

The simplest version is line stabilized by changing the resonator length. Depending on the laser output, the temperatur and the resonator length, this method only provides acces to a few lines.

Far more lines are available with the grating tuned versions. Due to the use of a high definition dispersive element, depending on the model up to 50 lines can be selected.

The addiotional line tracker provides even greater line stability.

These new diode laser modules stand for exceptional beam quality, high output power and very stable signal combined in an ultra compact case.

The temperature stabilization via peltier elements and the power stability are micro processor controlled.

Single Emitter Laser Diodes

 

 

 

Soliton presents the new laser diodes by JDSU. The most impressive innovation was presented at the Laser 2005 in Munich; A fiber coupled single emitter diode with an output power of 8 W at 916 and at 940 nm with a 105µm fiber.

SDL Laserdioden are well reputed for their long lifetime. Laser diodes without fiber coupling are available in different designs. As well as narrow band SLM modells with 810, 830 and 825 nm.

A fiber combiner couples 20 multi mode fibers in a single multi mode fiber output. This provides the possibility to offer optical modules with high diode power for pumping or direct application.

JDSU has just expanded its product range with the new fiber coupled high power laser diode with 8" @ 9xx nm. The fiber diameter measures only 105 nm.
