Process Ultrasound Spectroscopy for Rheology

For the measurement of fluids, mixtures and colloids inside a probe cell with 50mm in diameter. The following characteristics can be measured:

• density and concentration
• viscosity (rheology)
• particle size

The sensor module of the m3000uss by ITS uses two transducers for probe transmission. Its ultra sonic frequency is tunable.

Particles and fluids can be measured trough different absorption characteristics. The system is currently used for R&D, quality control and process monitoring.
