The implementation is always individual and based on your needs. In general projects start with a concept development phase in which different approaches to solutions are presented and discussed, while the requirements are norrowed down at the same time.

In this phase, we advise you on the selection and suitability of concepts by comparing the properties to be expected, development costs, manufacturing costs, delivery times and tolerances.

A selected concept is then detailed and optimized with regard to optical performance and fulfillment of the requirements. Commercial calculation software (e.g. Zemax OpticStudio) is used, which can be expanded to include your own evaluations and analyzes, depending on the task.

The result of this development phase is a complete optical design that is checked for manufacturability and tolerances. In the case of more complex systems, an adjustment and test strategy is also developed. The end of the optical design is the preparation of the technical drawings for optical components and the overall system. This forms the basis for further integration or for the construction of mechanical housings.
